This renovation focused on transforming the Mowachaht-Muchalaht First Nations CFS Building kitchen into a highly functional Emergency Hub and Full Commercial Kitchen designed to support both emergency response and community events.

The space was carefully planned to optimize workflow, space utilization, and operational efficiency, allowing the kitchen to serve the Nation at scale. Durable, easy-to-clean stainless steel finishes were selected throughout to improve cleanability, support food safety, and meet public health requirements. Upgraded cooking and cleaning facilities enhance hygiene, resilience, and long-term performance, ensuring the kitchen can reliably serve the community during daily programming, large gatherings, and critical moments alike.
